The entire process of coming to these set of parts in an element would have been possible if he had not taken the steps of making a mind map for he respective discipline. It helped having context as to what we are doing, had a lot of of fun breaking down manga art styles.

I decided to the part about line weights. Line weights are the thickness of a line, or how deep or light it is, in manga when the artist has to show power and seriousness, thin lines are used to show weakness, intricate details. A mixture of these line weights are used while inking to highlight and introduce subtle elements in the a scene or character. It is also used to depict depth in the an environment and can be used very effectively in perspective layouts.

Lines draw the attention of the reader and can make their eyes follow a certain path or introduce a flow in the composition, while depicting moods.

At the same time a line weight is relative and needs other lines around it to have some context. Depiction of moods and having elements of relativity is something I want to work with.
