Brief- A coffee table book based on objects from our Objects as History project. We worked on multiple templates and presented samples.
Coffee table books follow a minimal design language in terms of images, text, colours and information. They are something a person flips through and has to serve as entertainment rather than a heavy read. We kept these in mind before starting with our templates.
The first template follows a muted golden-black color scheme with B/W pictures
The second template is a bit punchy with colours taken from the object itself. The objects are cutout in this one to give the penetrating effect of a spear itself.
