We discussed the objects/aspects we are taking for our 8th week process.
Since I had spear, an object instead of the looking at weapons as a whole, I decided to concentrate on other aspects it stands for, what started as an object for hunting became a weapon for combat and evolved into detachable spearheads, pikes, pilums and lances.
Every object, although made to perform the same function, varies from civilization to civilization through geographic differences.
The aim of the project is to include such observations and reflections about these objects than factual data.
We had the liberty to look for alternatives which indicate evolution of a certain iteration of our object. For example, A physical spear may not be present from a civilization I want to include in my timeline, I can always look at paintings, sculptures which depict the same and draw references from them.
My Odyssey
