We were to show the maps we made in class today. The faculty set up a desk to present every group’s map. the groups were to present their maps and a Q&A session followed.
Sassoon docks had 3 aspects for us, people, transport and the smell. We laid down a base map and put these aspects on tracing sheet s so that they can be presented as layers.
The faculty pointed out that we need top work on scale when depicting things on the map. The viewer should get a sense of scale while comparing the landmarks around the area. The same goes for roads and paths, the reader should have a sense of the distance.
