For a collaborative project with the drawing class, we were introduced to coloring of pencil sketches in Photoshop.
With the blending mode set to multiply, new layers are to be added for every section of the drawing to be painted. For adding a layer of shade a darker colour can be selected from the colour guide.
Different brushes of varying softness or Gaussian blur can be added to merge the shaded areas with the base colour.
