Today’s brief was about character design. We were told to pick out names of artists we were inspired by then list down why we chose these artists. We had to explore the visual elements in their drawing styles. These elements include drawing style,camera angles, shading and coloring techniques and the general way their characters are drawn or represented.
I picked out Randowis, Makoto Shinkai, for form of the body, Jim Lee and Yusuke Murata for gradation an shading of shapes and the body.
