DRAWING

23 September 2019/Class 8/ms.Sonia Mallick

We covered all perspectives with 3 and 4-point done in today’s class. After a brief given by the faculty of 3 point perspective, we discussed what all perspectives can be used to illustrate. One point is used to depict flat images with some amount of drama near the vanishing point. 2 point projects a panoramic view of the environment and is thus used for depicting interiors since they provide a wide angle to work with and can show more objects/figures kept in the environment. 3 point is dramatic and is used less comparatively.

4 point or fish eye view is used to depict an inflated view of things (things in the illustration look as if they have been inflated like a balloon). It can be used for drawing things inside a snow globe, peephole, views in convex mirrors etc.
