17 September 2019/Class 7/Ms.Jigna Gada
The class started with a revision of all the tools we learned in the previous class. List of tools and methods we learned:

- Layer style: An option menu which is placed inside the layer panel enables the user to select different blending styles which gives varying effects to the images or the background.
- The fx (effects) menu: the menu offers the user options to enhance a selection using effects like glowing edges, shadows and a variety of overlays.
- Quick Selection tool(W): Dragging the cursor across an image with this tool enabled gives a quick selection of the areas which have a prominent colour separation.
- Image>Adjustments: to adjust hue, saturation and contrast of an image. Helpful while merging 2 images.
- Clipping Mask: Used to impose an image inside another shape/text.
- Layer mask: Used for merging two layers. Point to remember: white= insvisible, black=visible.

Our posters were to be printed and brought to class.
As our assignment for photoshop we were to merge 2 pictures and blend them together.
