Fabric textures, painted with water colours and pencil colours were shown to us in class today. Lights and shadows react differenly to different types of fabrics just like we saw with objects in previous classes.
Satin & fur texture and A koi fish with wet on wet technique 
Fabric textures require different appraoches to colour too. Velvet is to be done with an undertone first, then moving to darker areas and finshing off with textures lines. Satin requires water colours to capture it’s smooth surface with white highlights to bring out refelection. Some tips for textures were given to us too. We did experiments with bleach on transparent photo colours and sprinkled bleach on them to give an exploding effect. We also learned wet on wet technique which diffuses water colours on paper.
