Gestalt’s Principles were introduced today along with more practice of the pen tool. A broad summary of the principles is that we tend to look at objects as a whole rather than individual aspects of it, our mind fills in various details to complete the image. We group things according to movement, similarity, proximity nad also tend to fill in shapes when negative spaces are enclosed within well placed shapes. Logo design and other mediums use such minimalism and visual tricks to look more appealing.
